This New York Times Bestseller is about a young teenage girl named Mibs. She is about to turn 13, and in her extraordinary family that means discovering her extra-special ability - or savvy. Mibs goes on an adventure with some unexpected people and discovers her savvy along the way. This is a wonderful book and it makes sense why it was a New York Times Bestseller and Indian Paintbrush Book!!!

The Girl Who Could Fly (No idea who it's by, adventure)
Predictably, a story about a girl who can fly. She goes to a school of sorts, for all things "abnormal". But all is not as it seems, and I.N.S.A.N.E is not as welcoming to the students as it could be. A mysterios man, a boy more gron up than he should be, and a heartbroken headmistress....

Edward's Eyes by Patricia MacLachlan (116 PAGES/REALISTIC FICTION)

This book really caught me off guard! I knew something big was going to happen, and I had kind of predicted it, but I was still surprised by the twist at the end. When you're done, you'll definitely want to go back and reread the prologue! The book is a really quick read. If you like books about family and baseball, you'll find this interesting. My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
This is one of the greatest books i've ever read! It makes you cry, laugh and say "Why did I even read this book!" The movie is also coming out this month and I think it will be fantastic! This book will stun you with it's bold topic and unexpected twists and turns!

The Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer (Fiction/Romance/Action/Fantasy)

This series is an amazing love story between a vampire and a human. This series is a little difficult for people younger than 11. There are a couple of PG13 moments but other than that it is pretty safe. The best things about this series are the suprising twists in the unexpected places. Over all, I think it is a great read! For all the Twilight lovers like me, click here for the official Stephenie Meyer Website. Lots of Twilight stuff! Also stuff on her other book The Host. I have read this too and it is also fantastic!

Marley and Me by John Grogan

Marley and Me is a story of a family in the making and a wondrously neurotic dog who taught them what really matters in life. By the time you read the first few pages of this book you will be snagged on it and until you read every last word in this book, cover to cover you wont be able to stop. This book will have you laughing and crying and confused all in the matter of a few chapters and that is what makes it by far, by a looong shot, the best book that I have have ever read. For you pet lovers out there this is the book for you.

Lord of the Fliesby William Golding, action/drama/realistic fiction

WOW!!! I thought that this was a book that I'd read when I was younger, but now that I'm finished, I'm almost positive I hadn't read it before because I would have surely remembered it! This is an incredible story. A group of young British boys becomes stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. There are no adults, no authority figures, no laws, and no rules; it's just the boys, and they have to sort out for themselves how they are going to survive the island and more importantly survive each other. I would absolutely read this book again. I listened to the book on CD, and the author, William Golding, is actually the narrator. If anyone would like to borrow it, you're welcome! --Mr. M

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I reccommend the books Eragon,Eldest, and Brisingr. The books are about when Eragon the main charactor, and many other people are trying to over come Gablatorics the evel king. These are very long and adventurous books. They are very good and the reason I think this is because of the dragons and magic. So If you like dragons and magic you should read these books.
By Wylan Lee/Wyla

I recommend Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo. Really, this book is good for anyone: boy, girl, man, woman, teacher, student, Christian, athiest, cow, cat, or frog. I don't want to spoil anything but basically it is a true story of a four-year-old boy who shares his story. He was really sick and in the hospital for an emergency surgery. He says he slipped from consciousness and went into heaven. He ended up surviving and tells us all about his experiences (through mostly his father's words). Whatever you believe religiously, this is a really good book.
